Sweet Bay Magnolia magnolia virginiana, NATIVE  Semi Evergreen, glossy green leaves and fragrant flowers and it makes a great shade tree. It can grow in exceptionally wet areas as well. Plant approx 10 ft from the house. The roots are considered non invasive.
